Technology stops shredder immediately when hands are too close to the paper opening. Shreds up to 12 sheets per pass into 5/32" x 1-1/2" cross-cut particles as fast as 130 sheets per minute. Equipped with a 9" paper entry, the PS-77Cs easily accepts letter or legal size documents, and features durable steel cutters that accept credit cards, staples, and paper clips. Designated safety slot accepts CDs. Ultra quiet motor reduces noise in shared spaces or cubicles. Window allows user to see if 7-gallon pull-out wastebasket is full. Sheet capacity gauge helps prevent paper jams. Auto start/stop function ensures quick, easy shredder operation. Shredder automatically shuts off and alerts operator when a jam occurs, wastebasket is ajar, or shredder is overheated.
